An Introduction to Heywood Mediation Services
All cases are resolved either through a result imposed on the litigants by the judicial system or by a resolution crafted by the parties themselves with the assistance of a skilled mediator. Negotiated settlements are superior in that the interests and needs of the parties can be better addressed. Creative resolutions not available through the courts can be crafted leading to a high degree of satisfaction for all participants in the mediation process.
Mediation offers an expeditious, satisfying and cost-effective method to settle disputes without the hazards, delays, and costs of additional litigation. The mediator acts as a facilitator, guiding the parties to a mutually satisfactory disposition. In arbitration the arbitrator acts as a judge deciding contested issues based on evidence submitted by the parties.
